The pleasures of the world
Are but vanity
Wickedness in each word
Lacking purity
The pleasures of the world

Springing forth a war
With lack of mercy
The pleasures of the world
Are but vanity
Burnt up into ashes
Total futility
The path of life is
In the joy of God's presence
And at His right Hand
Are the eternal pleasures
