He carefully places each piece

An offence thrown at you
From someone close to you
The wound in your heart deep
No longer could you sleep

Wrath stirs up at every moment
Your life deprived of joyful moments
Bitterness eating into your life
Everything bringing tonnes of strife

Wounds not dealt with properly
Will not heal and become worse
Let go of the offence and forgive
Only then will you no longer hurt
