Live in His Joy

Oh I have a great story to tell
For I have learned a great lesson
In order for all things to be well
I need to live with the right reason

There is no need for me to carry
All the burdens deemed unnecessary
What I need is to be absolutely merry
And trust in my Lord God Almighty

His burdens are light
And His yoke is easy
My life will be made right
When I surrender to Him fully

His Joy is my strength
So I shall live happy
To the end of length
Abiding in Him fully

During those times of trouble
Numbed were my senses
I did not see any beauty
I could not give much praises

I struggled through those times
Not knowing how to get through
But I have seen that in every time
You were the One who got me through

Finally reaching the other side
I see all things beautiful
Although still in a bumpy ride
My senses are now full

O how much I have missed
Along the rough and tough way
But now I shall never miss
Rejoicing and praising You every day

Though the trials and challenges remain
But my heart and mind have transformed
Fully steadfast and determined to aim
That of which You desire of me to become

Go Far

Do not live in the past
For it has now gone
No matter what it was
It's not carved in stone

The past is only a part of you
It does not dictate who you are
Your life is what's ahead of you
Do not be stuck but go on far

The Lord determines your path
No matter how tough it was
A pearl was made in the rough
It did not become a loss

It's not about what was in the past
Or how you started your journey
What matters most is how at last
You bring to God all the Glory
