New Life

The leaves have dried

The stalk has died 

But with the Lord 

There is new life 

The old has left 

The new has come 

God gives new breath 

His kingdom come

The grains are few

And bread near gone 

There is no stew 

To be set down 

But do not fear 

In times of need 

God sees your tears 

And hears your needs 

The rain falls down 

From heaven above 

The fields are drowned 

And great crops spring up 

God has provided 

And He still provides 

He will continue 

To always provide 

There is not a need 

That God cannot meet 

So trust and believe 

And you shall receive 

Yoked with Christ

Those who are weary 

And heavy laden 

Those who are worried 

And with great burdens 

Turn to Lord Christ 

Be yoked with Him 

Burdens become light 

Rest comes from Him
