Hanging on the side of a cliff
Unable to lift yourself up
Almost losing your grip
To the sky, you gaze up

A prayer is said
To the Lord God above
Your soul desperate
And your heart pounding hard

Your strength is running out
Your breath almost out
Your spirit sings and shout
Your fears are cast out

Arising within
A strength unseen
Your hands are strengthened
And faith deepens

You lift yourself
Onto the edge
By the Lord's help
Your life is saved
