Lamp

You were trying to walk inside
A long dark tunnel
Without a glimmer of light
You start to fumble

Darker and darker
It soon became
Harder and harder
Your path became

Without any hope
To reach the end
You started to grope
For what's ahead

You then came to realise
To reach the end
You needed light for your eyes
To see the end

You woke from the dream
Learning that you need
A lamp to your feet
And light to your path

You cannot
Live without
God's Word
