This Wonderful Year

When I looked back at this year
O what a long year it was
It was full of sorrow and tears
Yet what a great joy it was
Through the stormy seas
And the rough windy days
You have brought me to see
Your mighty awesome Grace
I walked into this year
Not knowing what to expect
But I see now throughout this year
It was beyond what I could expect
Climbing up the steep hill
Knowing You even greater
I become more still
Living in You ever closer
