A New Day

I awaken to a brand new day
In the stillness of the early morning
I am grateful that each day
His mercies are new every morning
With a breath of fresh air
I step into the new day
Fulfilling my destiny as the heir
Of the Lord's wonderful way
My strength renewed in the resting
And the spirit fulfilled in the abiding
My heart at peace in the trusting
Of His faithfulness and Word for living
