Why do hearts lie
In deceitfulness and lust
Following lies
That destroy life and gain nought?
Why do hearts
Not turn to God
Who gives life
To all who trust
In His Word of Truth
And the work of Christ
At the cross to forgive sins
And give everlasting life?
Let all hearts
See the true love of God
And receive
Mercy and Grace from God
Living forevermore
In His loving embrace
Never short of hope
Never short of Grace
