By Dr Marilyn Bouniu
The times extremely dark
The eyes without any spark
The heart drained and cast down
The face ridden with deep frowns
The hope totally gone
The soul without joyful song
What there is left to life
In times of darkness and strife?
But do not despair
For there is hope in the air
Much joy to be shared
From the Lord God who does care
When you have surrendered
Completely to the Lord
You'll see His Mercy
And His Mighty Sword
All things will
Take a turn for the better
Remain still
And trust in God, your Father
