The past has gone
So let it go
Do not hold on
Or it will grow
Into what it should not be
Taking space and time fully
Away from the present time
In which you should fully live
Allow the Lord's love and Grace
Heal the hurts and past regrets
And the Lord's wisdom and strength
Lead and lift you in the tests
The past has gone
So let it go
Sing the Lord's new song
Move forwards and grow
