When troubles come and the floor
Starts to break under your feet
Then the enemy comes
With the familiar speech
If God truly loves you
You would not be going through this
If God truly loves you
Would He not get you out of this?
Heed not the lies of the enemy
Who comes only to steal, kill and destroy
But remember God's Grace and Mercy
And you shall be filled with true peace and joy
The Lord knows the plans He has for you
Plans to prosper you and not to harm you
Plans to give you hope and a future
So be still and trust the Lord's plans for you
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And lean not on your own understanding
Whatever you are going through
Surely did not escape the Lord's planning
The Lord loves you and
He will never leave you
In Him firmly stand
And let His Word lead you
