Because He gave
His life for me
I am grateful
Eternally
For the forgiveness
Granted to me
Through His willingness
To die for me
As an atonement
For all our sins
The great punishment
Was upon Him
The resurrection of His life
Granted us all eternal life
To those who receive Him
As their Saviour and King
His Grace and Mercy
Shall shower greatly
Upon all who would
Live in Him fully
