Would you rather place your trust 
On the things that do not last 
Which would so dwindle or rust 
And be a thing of the past?

Would your rather place your trust 
On what the world has to say 
Than on the Word of Truth 
That the Lord has to say? 

Would you rather place your trust 
On the things so uncertain?
Would you not rather trust 
In God's Word that's been proven?
