Strengthening To Be

The pain was far too great to bear 
Only to my Lord could I share 
In my darkest moment He was there 
To lift me up by His loving care 

And though my heart was torn 
In the midst of the raging storm 
Yet still my hands are raised 
To my loving Lord God in praise 

For whom else can I turn to 
But to my Lord, true and faithful 
Moulding and strengthening me to be
Just as Christ, righteous and holy
