So many things 
Come upon you 
You cannot sing 
They weary you

The bitter and sour 
Aplenty they shower 
The painful hours 
As a dark cover 

Nothing makes sense 
No reason seems right
You become tense 
Steps no longer light 

Believe in your heart 
Though you can't see 
The victory starts 
As faith comes in 

Trust in the Lord 
And you shall see 
His Mighty Sword 
Bring victory
