Let your roots

Grow down deep 

In God's Word 

As you keep 

So you will grow 

Beyond the heat

Even though

It seems bleak 

Far above

All the troubles 

Way beyond 

All your struggles

As you are built 

Upon the Rock 

And remain still 

With ev'ry knock

You will be strong 

Until the end

To fix the wrongs

Of evil hands
