Although the days
Are dark as night
I am always
Safe in Your Light

Although the days
Are long and dreary
I am always
Kept in Your Mercy

Although the days
Are full of fights
I am always
Safe in Your Might

Although the days
Have many frights
I am always
Kept in Your sight

My soul is at peace
Despite all the tests
For in my Lord God
I am safely kept
