Things To Learn

Things did not come easily
That I would learn gratitude
Things did not come quickly
That I would learn patience
Things were not at all easy
That I would learn diligence
Things were all up against me
That I would learn endurance
Things did not come on all at once
For God was being merciful
Things never ceased to teach me
For God was being faithful
