As the craze
Comes and goes
So the ways
Become cold

When the eyes
Look to greed
All the lies
Become seeds

Then the bonds
Become strong
And the chains
Become long

Only way
To be loosed
Is to pray
Curse removed

And to cut
Off the ties
So to part
From the lies

Let the mind
Be renewed
And the heart
Made anew

In the Lord
You abide
In His Word
Made alright
