Eternal Weight of Glory

I did not know before
But now I do
Why I had to go through
What I'd gone through
I could not see
God's Hand at work
But He was there
Always at work
He does
What His soul desires
He makes
All that He requires
He performs
What is appointed for me
He reforms
The necessary for me
Therefore I do not lose heart
Though my body is perishing
Inwardly I am renewed
Day by day far exceeding
The riches of this world
For an eternal weight of glory
As the things of this world
Are but that only temporary
