In the Lord 

The Peace of God 

Comes from the Lord and not the world 

So it cannot 

Be taken away by the world

Is not a void of sorrows

Or the absence

Of pain in your tomorrows

Is not an absence of loss

This Peace stems from 

The Work of Christ at the cross

The Peace of God

Is a true peace from God

For it is the 

Very presence of God

That we may not suffer loss 

From separation with God

Was for sanctification of souls

But be made righteous, holy and whole

Was a gift to every soul 

That we may not suffer loss

For only Christ could bear the cost

Should not be taken lightly

For we will suffer grave loss
