A year has gone by 

And now at its end 

I have suffered and tried 

But still joy is its end 

The greatness of my Lord 

Is what I have seen 

His glory and honor 

Is all that it's been 

Grateful for the trials 

Thankful for His Grace 

I will go on with a smile 

In whatever I face

But loneliness 

Makes your heart cry 

From emptiness 

You've searched 

High and low 

But still 

Nothing showed 

True love and care

To fill your heart 

Until you found 

The truest Heart 

In the One 

Called the Christ 

In Him as one 

Living this life

Brings true meaning 

Beyond words can describe 

And true living 

Forever in His Light

Children to rise

Above the roar

And be upright

He came to win

The hearts of men

To abide in

In the dark the times 

The answer is Grace 

Only found in Christ 

Power is in His Name 

And His Word brings life

So call upon His Name 

And walk in His Light 

The burden is lightened 

When yoked with Him 

And Glory is heightened

Place your trust in God 

And do not give up

Turn you eyes to God 

With His Light you'll see

Then you shall reach high up
