It is now high time 

To awake from slumber 

Don't be dull to the 

Warnings of the Father 

The night 

Is far spent 

The day 

Is at hand 

Cast off the 

Works of darkness 

Let life be 

Filled with brightness 

Thus walk properly 

Not in revelry

And drunkenness,

Lust and lewdness 

Put on Christ 

Let your life 

Be filled 

With light

Do not allow hatred and bitterness

To hinder and destroy you 

Instead be filled with love and forgiveness 

That truly liberates you 

Forgiveness is a choice 

That you need to make 

To set yourself free that 

Your life may not break 

Into pieces

Through your own hands

So allow the Lord's Grace and love 

Help your heart to forgive and mend

And confess that He is Lord and King 

You will have immense peace within 

For you are saved and belong to Him 

When you obey His every Word 

And do not heed the lies of the world 

You will then live so joyfully

Do not be disheartened 

But in the Lord be strengthened 

Keep your eyes fixed on Christ 

And you will see His bright Light

And remain prideful

And the fruits will certainly show

Proclaim His great Name

Are only but a moment 

Keep your eyes fixed on God's Light

Is absolutely accomplished

Are not there to bring you down 

But they help to build your life 

To obtain your rightful crowns

Will only make you stronger 

When you steadfastly abide 

In the Lord and surrender

Do not despise the pain 

Know that it serves us 

And there is much to gain 

It brings us close to Jesus

And helps us understand

It brings us to His presence

It helps us build resilience
