O so weak the soul becomes
When one drifts away from God
But so strong the soul becomes
When one walks closely with God
O so heavy the burden becomes
When one takes them without the Lord
O but so light the burden becomes
When one takes the yoke of the Lord
O so tense the soul becomes
When one loses sight of God
But so still the soul becomes
When one keeps the eyes on God
