A New Song In My Heart

Looking at the days of sorrows 
With the moments of extreme pain 
I look forward to tomorrow
For the Grace and Peace I shall gain 

I give praise and thanks to my Lord 
He has given me a new song 
My sorrows have turned into joy 
Despite the pain, I move along 

The tears have turned 
Into laughter
And mourning have turned
Into much dancing 

The rough road ahead
I joyfully take 
For the Lord is the Head 
His decisions I take 

With a new song in my heart 
I gladly climb up the mount 
To bring Glory to my God 
So I shall make my days count
