In The Rough

The path is rough ahead 

But remain still and be led 

By the Word of the Lord 

In His Light and with His Sword 

Do not be afraid 

But remain in faith 

Do not run away

Just lean on God's Grace 

And do not give up 

Even though it's tough

Keep your eyes on God 

And trust in His Love 

Now and Forever

With chaos all around 

But the heart settles 

As the Lord's love surrounds 

The storms come in

Shattering the silence 

But the Lord wins 

With His Word and presence 

The winds blow hard 

Until things topple over 

But God's Grace guards

For God is with us 

He cares and

Always protects us

You need not be afraid 

For you're now the child 

Of the Most High God 

God becomes

Your Father 

You belong to Him

Now and forever 

He will pour out

His Mercy and Grace 

You will live out 

This life in hope and faith

Of what is to come

No longer a grave 

For Lord Christ has won

Do not be

It may not be what you'll find 

More often than not in life 

Pain and trials are what you'll find 

But take heart 

Do not be disheartened 

In God's love 

And His Grace be strengthened 

God will be with you 

Throughout the journey 

He will never leave you 

Daily you'll receive Mercy
